1. The harm of wear and tear

Different size components have different effects on the wear of sword tip.The process structure of rapier loom is also related to the wear of rapier head, especially the higher the height of back beam, the greater the tension of bottom warp, and the more serious the wear of rapier head.As the tension of the lower warp is larger, when the shed is gradually closed, the lifting of the upper warp of the lower warp increases the lifting force of the supporting tool head correspondingly, and the greater the extrusion friction of the guide hook, the greater the wear of the tool head.

How to prevent wear and tear?

The tightness of rapier weft insertion and warp opening time directly affects the wear of rapier head.When the warp starts too early, the rapier head makes less contact with the warp when feeding, and more contact with the warp when the rapier goes back, so there is more friction and extrusion yarn between the rapier head and the warp.Similarly, when the opening time of the warp is delayed, there will be less contact between the blades and the warp, but more contact between the weft feeding blades and the warp, so there will be more friction and extrusion between the blades and the warp.Chemical grout should be selected to reduce the wear of the grout on the tool head and greatly prolong the service life of the tool head.At the same time, it is important to further study the coating technology of the rapier head and enhance the wear resistance of the coating on the surface of the rapier head to prolong the service life of the rapier head.
